  • Newton’s 2nd law: Constant applied force
    • Data to be collected individually (7 choose 5 or 9 choose 6)
  • Rubric for Lab Skills Assessment

After Class Work:

  • Review:
  • Create an appropriate data table with Google sheets
  • Linearize the data
  • Create an appropriate scatter plot and add a trend line
  • Calculate the slope of the trend line

Linearizing Data (Exercise)

Before Class Preparation:

  • BYOD laptop or sign out a Chromebook
  • Make sure you have a completed & organized data table for tennis ball freefall in Google Classroom
    • Ask for sample RAW data from me if you were away on lab day

In Class Activity:

  • Spreadsheet Activity: “Linearization of Data Exercise”
  • Linearize and graph freefall data
